Why Herbalism?

Kyng & Edea sitting close together, one on a wooden chair and the other kneeling, happily interacting in a cozy, warm-lit room. Kyng is holding a small bottle of herbal medicine, and there are various bottles and items on a shelf in front of them.

Edea and King are both trained in Chinese Herbal medicine.
While we hold deep reverence for western herbalism, unfortunately it was not offered during either of our programs and is by no means a quick learn.

With respect to our practice we find Chinese herbalism to be profoundly poetic, and an essential pillar of our practice of medicine.

Keeping a twice daily routine of bolstering your health, tremendously increases the expedience of patient progress.

Currently we source most of our medicinary from a company called Classical Pearls.

We use Classical Pearls as they align with our values.

Their formula composition is classically based, prioritizes transparency at every stage of the growing, harvesting, manufacturing, and testing process. All their ingredients undergo independent testing in a U.S. laboratory for heavy metals, pesticides, and microbes. They source from small sustainable farms, with ethical harvesting, traditional wildcrafting growing methods to ensure soil health which maintains the nutrient density in their herbal formulas. They foster long-term, trust-based relationships with their farmers that helps them ensure highest standards of safety, sustainability, and efficacy of their herbs.

In our experience the biggest hurdle with herbs is patient compliance. Classical pearls are a simple tasteless pill based approach.

We are also registered practitioners with the Kamwo dispensary in New York if you would like to source bulk herbs to prepare yourself!
